Animalia – IWCB Wind Symphony
Saturday 13 September, 4:00 pm–5:45 pm
Join us for a dynamic program of music inspired by the wild and wonderful world of animals!
From the anguished Cry of the Last Unicorn to a startling arachnid encounter with a Huntsman in the Car; from the the rugged landscapes of The Catskills in Appalachia to the high country immortalised in The Man from Snowy River; from jazz cats, baby elephants, and the spirited horses of Eric Whitacre’s Equus to music from ‘Sing’ and ‘The Lion King’, this program celebrates the animal kingdom.
