Kids’ Proms

Share the joy and excitement of seeing and hearing the sounds of a concert band for the first time at IWCB’s fun and interactive Kids’ Proms concert. They’ll see how trumpets toot, saxophones sing and percussion performs.

The concert will feature upbeat and familiar tunes, demos of each instrument, opportunities to join in with the music-making and even a chance to conduct the band. Music will include The Simpsons, SpongeBob SquarePants, Blues Brothers, Instant Concert, and fun surf songs in Big Fun In The Sun, plus a selection of nursery rhymes, making the concert suitable for children of all ages, as well as a fun concert for adults.

The performance will go for a kid-friendly 40 minutes, with a chance afterwards for children to meet the members of the band and see the instruments up close.

Saturday June 29, 10am – 11am at Stanmore Baptist Church, 140 Albany Rd.
Entry by Donation at the door.
