THAT’S ENTERTAINMENT

Movie and stage musical themes abound in the program for That’s Entertainment.
Bring the whole family and be treated to an entertaining concert presented by the Inner West Community Band and Kogarah Concert Band. Enjoy excerpts from Beauty and the Beast, Hairspray, West Side Story, Skyfall, Lord of the Rings Symphony No. 1 and more.
A concert highlight is sure to be the finale where both bands will join together to present a 70+ sized symphonic wind band performing The Wizard of Oz and Sinatra in Concert. W
We are also pleased to be featuring the young and talented Matilda Williams as she sings Adele’s Skyfall with the band.
Matilda has been playing Euphonium for seven years and has been singing for five years. During that time she has completed multiple AMEB exams, and has also competed in many singing and instrumental eisteddfods. Matilda has also performed with Opera Australia in the winter season of Turandot at the Opera House. Being the youngest of four children born into a musical family, Matilda regularly plays pieces within her family ensemble, with her and her two older sisters making up a brass trio called ‘The Sugly Isters’. Matilda also received a 100% music scholarship to Redlands Secondary School were she is currently attending.
